Bengali beauty Koena Mitra turned beast, how sad

Getting under the knife is turning out be commonplace in Bollywood. As Rakhi Sawant puts it, “Jo Bhagwan Nahin Deta hai Woh Doctor Deta Hai” but, looks like Koena hit an extreme with her quest for a makeover.

We was shocked to see the actress this past Sunday at the ‘Rajiv Gandhi Awards’ show in Mumbai as Koena’s face looked completely disfigured as a result of the recent plastic surgery she underwent.

Poor Aftab looked completely petrified while dancing with the actress in fact, for one act he even wore his sunglasses. Koena neither smiled nor did she make an eye contact with the audiences during the dance act.

Vivek too, looked a little perplexed when performing with the actress and it all didn’t go unnoticed with the crowd, who were just baffled with the thought that the actress had considered to go on the stage in front of thousands of guests in such state.

Recently, there were stories of Koena undergoing a face lift procedure and that she has signed an International project, in which she plays a superwoman.

We don’t know if Koena can really play a superwoman but, she will sure fit the bill as a ‘scary woman’.

THE SEXY SULTRY JAITLEY

In a recent poll conducted by a well known media house to find out who the sexiest actress in Bollywood. Celina Jaitly was adjudged as the most sexiest followed by Mallika Sherawat, and Koena Mitra.

Said the Psychologist who was on the panel of the show "Celina has got a very pretty face and a great body. She is very sensual and not over the top. She knows how to carry her sensuality. And her attractive face and attitude just adds up to the X factor."

When her friends messaged her about the poll, Celina Jaitly who is shooting for an International Project "love has No Language" in New Zealand, Celina just thanked her fans.

Says Celina "Yes I did receive a lot of messages and I take it as a compliment. My sex appeal lies in my face and that says it all. It's also a lot about the right attitude."

Nice to see a hot sizzler without trying too hard!!!

Bollywood film breaks sex and marriage taboo

It is a first of sorts for Bollywood: a film about wife swapping that involves no large-scale shimmering song and dance sequences. Mixed Doubles is, in short, a serious movie about a taboo subject from India's film capital that has for decades relied on making people laugh or cry rather than think.

Made on a budget of just £85,000 and shot over 25 days, the film is a tongue-in-cheek take on sex and marriage. "It is about what happens when the spark goes in marriage. About what happens when the bedroom is not what it used to be," said Rajat Kapoor, the film's director.

In tackling such a subject the film, which opened yesterday, is seen as spearheading a new genre of Indian movies that attempt to tackle issues more subtly than the current crop of blockbusters. "It is not your typical Bollywood movie where everything is completely romanticised and hypocritically suggests that we are not sexual beings. Either that or they try to titillate audiences."

Set in middle-class Bombay, the film has a bored husband trying out wife swapping to revive his marriage. His frank, comic attempts at finding the right set of partners and eventually recasting his marriage would seem mild fare for western audiences but are refreshing for those in India.

What has struck people who have seen the film is that it shows women with a libido. Konkona Sen Sharma, who plays the frustrated wife in the film, told interviewers she had taken the role in part because it showed "that women also want to have sex. Very few films address themselves to a woman's sexual appetite."

Academics say movies like Mixed Doubles, which make little concession to English and deal with urban mores, are an indication of how Indian society is dividing. "What you can see is two kinds of movies. One for the dusty folk who live in the villages and plains of the country, and the other for wealthy urbanites with more cosmopolitan interests," said Dipanker Gupta, professor of sociology at Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi.

Unusually for Bollywood, actors were auditioned, a departure in an environment where studios dictate casts to directors and new starlets are more likely to be beauty contest winners than drama school graduates. "There are plenty of great actors - it is the films they lack," Kapoor said.

He said his inspiration came from 60s Hollywood film-makers such as Billy Wilder, and he hoped to replicate the artistic respectability achieved by films like Some Like it Hot. "I wanted something a little more erotic and sensuous than your typical Bollywood movie."

21 Bollywood sex bomb Mallika too hot for Pakistan

bombshell Mallika Sherawat, 27, is just too hot for some people.

Her reputation for taking on sexy roles, wearing barely anything on screen, has preceded her in Pakistan.

The Mumbai-based tabloid Mid-Day reported that the Pakistan Film Censor Board threatened to ban her latest film, Welcome, if theatre owners screened it without the recommended cuts.

The board had cut three scenes which involved Mallika and co-star Feroz Khan, declaring they were ‘obscene’.

The board felt that Mallika ‘fostered obscenity and is a bad influence on youngsters’.

Mumbai newspaper Daily News & Analysis reported that while the cinema owners received the censored version last month, audiences did not like it.

In order to attract the crowd, the cinema owners screened the uncensored version and put banners up at their movie theatres stating: ‘Come and see the uncensored version of Welcome’.

It has reportedly drawn the audience back into the cinemas.

Funnily enough, in this comedy, Mallika is fully clothed throughout.

The happy couples stories

Amitabh Bachchan with Jaya BachchanAmitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan
Amitabh and Jaya met for the first time at FTII, Pune and then again on the sets of Guddi. Although they were in mutual agreement called 'Love' they never formally dated. They always went out in groups. They married after the success of the movie 'Abhimaan'.

Sharukh Khan and Gauri
Sharukh Khan was awestruck when he walked down a New Delhi road after seeing the most amazing pair of legs in a short skirt. Before realizing to whom it belonged to he claimed he was in love. It was Gauri Khan. He was eighteen and she was fourteen when they first met.

Gauri was cool, classy and sophisticated whereas Sharukh was sloppy, hyper and hated dressing. The couple did have some disagreements in their opinions. It is said that Gauri used to fight, as she didn't like Sharukh to act in films. Sharukh on the other hand was very possessive about his ladylove whom he lovingly calls 'Gaurima' so much so that he would even pick up a quarrel with her even if she let her hair down.

The interesting love scene of this couple is when he combed every street of Mumbai in search of Gauri when she left him all alone in anger. Later when Gauri's family opposed their marriage, he wooed Gauri's family as in the film 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge'. Isn't that truly a Bollywood style?

Hrithik Roshan with SussaneHrithik Roshan and Sussane
The Super Hero of Bollywood was bewitched by the beauty of Sussane at a traffic signal in Mumbai. This is Hrithik's side of the story. Sussane's story is a little different. Both of them knew each other since their childhood and they lived in the same locality. However, love had no entry until she came back from US with an Associate Art Degree in Interior Designing, while Hrithik was still practicing his acting skills.

Duggu and his soul mate were shy to voice their deepest feelings for a long time. As they kept meeting often nearly everyday they created a platform called 'Best Friends' first. And then it happened. Neither of them made any verbal commitment but they knew that they were in love.

As for the parents they were ready with the barath as soon as they heard about their relationship.

Sunil Shetty and Mana Kadri
The Bollywood boxer met Mana Kadri in Pastry Palace when he was a longhaired stud who seethed Mumbai streets with his sleek Bike. When Shetty proposed her she initially refused, as he was the dada of the locality and rode jeeps with a bunch of tough guys.

Shetty had his own assets to woo her. He won her with chocolates, sweet letters, champagne...etc (that mostly works with girls). Finally she had to give in for his crazy love. They married after nine years of dating.

Jackie Shroff and Ayesha Dutt
Ayesha first met Jackie Shroff first when she was in school. They met in a record store. Jackie Shroff walked up to her in his heroic style and asked in his sexy voice whether he could help her to choose the best one.

The schoolgirl was at once attracted with his smile. She walked back home and announced that she had found the guy whom she is going to marry. After that small incident they met, dated, married and lived happily ever after.

Tutu Sharma and Padmini Kolhapure
Padmini chucked everything at the age of 21 and eloped with her husband Tutu Sharma (film director). Padmini's parents were against the relationship as he was a Punjabi and she a Marathi. Fortunately it took just a few months for the parents to come around and accept them.

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai
The happening love story of the year has got its limelight from the start. Both of them were engaged with different people few years back. Nobody ever thought they would ever be in a love relationship. There is suspense, romance, drama and everything that you wished to see in their love story. It is really hard to tell other than the couple when they really fell in love. Some people say that it happened during the shooting of the song 'Kajra re' for the movie 'Bunty Aur Babli'. Whatever the fact the love story has been the talk of every home and a separate column for every news media.

Only after the making of Guru Ash and Abhi became less cautious about being seen together at public places. Abhi proposed Ash after the premier of Guru in Toronto. After they returned to Mumbai, the couple got engaged on January 14 at the Bachchan's residence.

WHAT A SLUT

Sex scene between Priyanka and Arjan to be cut from Fashion

We reported a few weeks ago about a breast-popping scene that has been trimmed down by director Madhur Bhandarkar for the film Fashion, and now we can report that the Indian Censor Board has told him to cut another scene… this time featuring sexy babe Priyanka Chopra making love with newcomer Arjan Bajwa.

A friend of Madhur said, “Madhur has decided to play down the lovemaking scene in Fashion. He too is fully aware that it has turned out to be extremely steamy.”The scene was shot from multiple angles and it was shown four times in the promos. The scene is very bold. Arjan and Priyanka are lying on a bed and Arjun is shown kissing Priyanka’s back.”

A Censor Board officer confirmed the news, saying, “The scene shows Priyanka and Arjan lying on a bed and we thought that it was too bold to be shown. So, we asked Madhur to redo it and he complied.”

When approached about this issue, Madhur himself also confirmed this, “Yes, we have followed the orders of the Censor Board.”

IS THIS A JOKE?

Salman Khan gives up the booze during month of Ramadan

Us mere mortals give up eating and watching movies during the month of Ramadan, but a certain Mr. Salman Khan has decided to give up alcohol too.

It may come as a shock to many of Salman’s fans but the bad boy of Bollywood is doing exactly that. Our source says, “Sallu Bhai is quite fond of drinking and loves to entertain his friends. Practically his entire group of friends is always present at his house in the evenings. Sallu is known to spend the evenings with his friends over drinks and biryani.”

When contacted, Alok Mathur, official spokesperson of Salman Khan confirmed and said, “Yes, Salman won’t be drinking till Eid. It was an impulsive decision that he took when he brought the Ganpati idol home this year. His family believes in secularity and they celebrate Ganpati and Eid with equal fervour. It was during the Ganpati sthapana this year that he decided that he won’t touch alcohol for an entire month till he sees the moon and celebrates Eid.”

Well there you have it… but how come there is no mention of Salman Khan fasting during this holy month… does he even do that?

Somebody warn gauri!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Vidya Balan says she is in love and that with Shah Rukh Khan

It’s not just us fans that fall head over heels in love with King Khan Shah Rukh Khan, but his fellow female colleagues are doing just that.

While being interviewed by Sajid Khan for a TV show, popular actress Vidya Balan expressed her love for the current superstar of India. Her love for Shah Rukh is so much that she is willing to kill his wife Gauri Khan if need be it.

Well… there you have it… she may not actually go ahead with her murderous plans but one thing is for sure… this babe will surely not join the Salman Khan camp… she is a true Rukhster!

Bollywood proncess shilpa shetty

Though we knew it already, it has now been authenticated. Shilpa Shetty has been voted one of the most eligible single women by a British Men’s magazine.

Fortunes have kept raining down on Shilpa Shetty ever since she won the Celebrity Big Brother show in Britain. Just a few days back, the leggy lass became the “queen of the cyber world” by becoming the most searched actress on the web.

Now, British Men’s Magazine ‘Lads’ has named Shilpa the 38th most eligible single girl in the world. While Shilpa’s sylphlike figure, her cute smile and her beauty is certainly behind her being chosen one of the most eligible girls, it cannot be denied that her gritty and humble character that we saw on the Big Brother show has made her a desirable girl for many bachelors.

Sadly, Shilpa says she has no plans to tie the knot for at least a year.

Gladly, she is thinking of buying a house in the UK so now some eligible Britons can also try their luck on Shilpa.

Well, the whole world is Shilpa’s oyster now.
